Her husband Michael was so beyond relieved when she was found by the search crews, especially given the bad weather. He said: “I just want to say support your local search and rescue and hug your spouse tonight, whoever you’re lying in bed with tonight, hold on to them.”

How They Found Her
While it was unclear how she had gone off the trail, a search crew official told CBC News that she hid under a log in order to stay dry. She was moderately injured after slipping onto a log in the wet wilderness, hurting her rib. Despite this, she seemed to still be “chipper.”
