This might surprise you, but Tina Louise simply didn’t have fun hanging out with her co-stars. She wasn’t even around every time the crew did group interviews. She was very bitter with her role as Ginger. Although, once on screen, the trace of her disinclination wasn’t really evident. For what it’s worth, the audience saw Ginger as an iconic character. But maybe it was too iconic for Tina’s taste.
