A Family That Sings Together
Due to her father’s rodeo competitions, the family were often on the road, and they would frequently sing together while on their travels. From an early age, Reba’s mother introduced the kids to country music and encouraged them to sing. Not long after, the kids were well known in their area as “The Singing McEntires” and Reba was often singing at plays, rodeo competitions, and even at the town’s high school graduation ceremony.
