The Andy Griffith Show was about Andy Taylor, a widowed sheriff who oversaw the small town of Mayberry, North Carolina. Ron Howard played Andy’s son, Opie Taylor and Eleanor Donahue played his main love interest for the series. The show was on for 8 seasons between 1960 and 1968 and forever will be remembered.
