Ever since the online streaming service was introduced, Netflix has been giving cable a run for its money. Not only do they provide streaming access to some of cable’s hottest movies and TV shows, Netflix also produces its own star-studded content. However, Netflix giveth and taketh away, and more than a few fan favorites have been removed. While this might seem cruel, Netflix has to make room for new shows and movies by getting rid of some old ones. Launched in 2007, Netflix has introduced some amazing shows, like Orange is the New Black and House of Cards. However, many titles will be leaving the streaming service very soon. These are the shows and movies that will no longer be on Netflix this year. Did someone say binge marathon?

On My Block

Netflix confirmed in January 2021 that On My Block‘s fourth season will be its last. The last 10 episodes will be aired either at the end of 2021 or 2022, depending on when filming is finished.

The comedy series featuring Ryan O’Connell lasted for two seasons. However, In March 2021, Netflix informed everyone that its final season will be aired in May 2022.

Grand Army

Grand Army was dropped way back in October 2020 and has been officially cancelled by Netflix despite just having one season. Although the show did receive positive reviews from critics, particularly its young cast’s performances, the show will not be renewed for a second season.

La Casa de Papel, which is known by its English name Money Heist, will not continue past its fifth season, which will premiere in two parts: first in September 2021 and its second in December 2021.
