Just look at Hollywood’s sweetheart Marilyn Monroe kicking the first ball in a game between Israel’s Hapoel FC and the American Soccer League. This particular match happened on May 12, 1957. The actress and singer is believed to have attempted three kicks before the photographers were able to catch the shots they needed. What happened to the match, you ask? Well, the final score was 6-4 in favor of the Israeli team, though it seems like Marilyn’s great kick got more news coverage!
