Billie Jean is quite a sporting legend! This title was further cemented after she beat Bobby Riggs in an iconic 1973 tennis match that was eventually called the “Battle of the Sexes”. In the film inspired by the event, she was portrayed by none other than Emma Stone. She was also one of the first female athletes to come out of the closet! Six years later, she became a part of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and got divorced from Larry King. She has since been with her former tennis partner Ilana Kloss, and the couple presently lives in New York.
