Lex Luger was a well-known professional wrestler whose career peaked in the 80’s and the 90’s. He was once called ‘The Total Package’ and he has competed in both the World Wrestling Federation and in World Championship Wrestling. Luger also played football and he once played for the NFL under the Miami Hurricanes. Sadly, a spinal stroke served as the last straw for the wrestler and he was forced to quit sports altogether. However, you will still find him working behind the scenes in the WWE as part of the Wellness Policy team.

Richard Chamberlain’s big break was the NBC drama series Dr. Kildare, where he portrayed the titular role. The older readers might remember James Kildare, the young intern working at the Blair General Hospital! The successful TV show opened many doors for him in both film and theater. Among these projects are The Bourne Identity, The Thorn Birds, and King Solomon’s Mines. Yes, he played the iconic Jason Bourne years before Matt Damon did! Interestingly, Chamberlain was an openly gay actor and he was once in a relationship with Martin Rabbett, his Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold costar. This fact was first publicized in a 1989 Nous Deux article, though the actor confirmed it when he published his 2003 autobiography titled Shattered Love.
