Stan Lee might be 95 years old, though age does not get in the way of his fame and success at all. Actually, the younger generation pretty much worships the comic break creator. After all, we have him to thank for the creation of Marvel characters such as Iron man, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, and Spiderman. If Stan Lee did not exist, the Avengers movies would not have been made. Que horror! The comic book writer is still going strong, though he does have to wear a pacemaker after suffering from a heart ailment. Though he has since retired from comic book writing, he still makes cameos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe installments. What a legend!
NANETTE FABRAY, 97 YEARS OLD
Nanette Fabray actually began performing in the vaudeville at the young age of three years old. There, she was able to prove her skills in singing and tap dancing. Later on, she began appearing in musical theatre shows and eventually made the move to films. Throughout her early years, she was under the impression that she had some sort of learning disability due to her difficulties in school. The Emmy and Tony Award winner later found out that she actually had conductive hearing loss. The diagnosis turned Fabray into a deaf people rights advocate and this passionate endeavor of hers ended up outlasting her Hollywood career.
GEORGE H. W. BUSH, 94 YEARS OLD
Aside from serving as the 41st President of the United States, George H. W. Bush was also a businessman and an aviator. During the Second World War, he enlisted in the Navy and became a naval aviator. As the former leader of the country, he also launched the George Bush Presidential Library in Texas A&M University. For members of the younger generation, he is probably best remembered as the father of yet another POTUS, George Bush.

George H. W. Bush is not the only nonagenarian US President on our list. He is accompanied by former POTUS Jimmy Carter as well! Perhaps the biggest accomplishment of the 39th President of the United States was in foreign policy. To this day, he remains an advocate for human rights. He is believed to hold a net worth of approximately $7 million. The former head of state was diagnosed with cancer and we are all glad to hear that he survived the disease.

We mentioned her earlier in passing, though Mary Ann Summers of the sitcom Gilligan’s Island deserves her own spot as well. VERA LYNN, 100 YEARS OLD
“The Forces Sweetheart”, aka Vera Lynn is an English performer who is known for her singing, as well as her acting in both TV and film. She was donned “The Forces Sweetheart” because she began her singing career during World War II, her beautiful voice providing soldiers comfort during the war. Can you believe that this powerhouse recently released an album named ‘Vera Lynn 100’ to commemorate her 100th birthday. It’s impressive enough that she released an album at such an old age, but can you believe that it reached #3 in the charts?! We are at a loss for words.

Just look at that handsome lad on the right! In the year 1934, Gene Reynolds’ face became displayed across American TV and films. Although he was impressing viewers, his career in Hollywood was very short lived. A letter from the recruitment office came in, calling him to participate in the Second World War. Following his years in the service, he returned to the big screen, but on the opposite end of the camera this time. Instead of acting, he became a well-known director, creating the hit TV series M*A*S*H. From his many awards and respect from the industry, he is living a comfortable life at the age of 94 years old.
