Edie Falco
Edie Flaco, known for her role in Nurse Jackie and The Sopranos, stopped drinking when she was 29. She shared: “I was a non-drinker for years, then I had my first drink at college and I found nirvana,” and that alcohol felt like “the answer to all my problems, and the cause of all my other problems.” After too many incidents, she decided to completely cut it out of her life.
Keith Urban
Keith Urban struggled with his alcohol addiction for years and spent two times in rehab, once in 1998 and once in 2006. He shared: “I had to find a way to be different in this world. I’m glad it didn’t change anything about my music. I wrote plenty of hit songs while drunk. I wrote plenty sober. I feel lucky it hasn’t defined my creativity.”
