Filming the sitcom didn’t always go smoothly, especially during the first season. Florence Henderson was absent during the filming of the first six episodes. At the time, she was fulfilling her contract to work in an off-Broadway show. Later, she went to back to filming and filled in all the scenes involving Mrs. Brady.

Although on-screen sisters Eve and Maureen didn’t particularly like each other, the Brady brothers- Peter and Greg were best friends off-screen. Christopher Knight and Barry Williams are still close to this day. They even attended each other’s wedding ceremonies as proof of their lasting friendship.
