As the decades continue to come and go, so do the stars of the time. Believe it or not, but the ‘70s was almost 50 years ago, and plenty of time has passed for our once much-loved stars of this era. Just where are they now?
Kirstie Alley In The ‘70s
It was throughout the ‘70s that actress Kirstie Alley began to build her career. As well as appearing in the sci-fi series Quark, this star also landed a place on the game show Match Game where she won both of her rounds. Just a few years later, Kirstie broke onto our big screens in the sci-fi movie Star Trek II, and the rest, as they say, is history. The following decade saw the actress appear in a host of films, as Kirstie grew to become a household name.
Barbra Streisand In The ‘70s
Although Barbra rose to fame for her incredible vocals in the ‘60s, it wasn’t long before this legend broke into the world of acting too. She made her debut on the big screen in this decade, before reaching the ultimate level of fame in the 1970s. Barbra’s time in the romantic drama The Way We Were and the romantic musical drama A Star Is Born both helped to secure her place in Hollywood, while her hits saw the musician dominate the charts throughout the decade.
