The pissaladière looks a lot like a pizza, but don’t call it a pizza. It’s a thin crust savory tart that is topped with onions, olives, and anchovies. It’s got a punch of flavor that is delicious salty and sweet from the caramelized onion. You can get it as most boulangeries for a few euros, so try it out as a snack.

This delicious dish is healthy and filling. It’s made of vegetables like tomatoes, zucchini, and eggplant that are stuffed with ground beef, garlic, and bread crumbs. They can be served as a hot dish or a cold one.
Ratatouille
This well known dish, perhaps made even more famous thanks to the adorable film by the same name, is actually originally from Nice. It can be comprised of different vegetables but it usually includes onion, carrot, garlic, tomatoes, eggplant, and zucchini. The herbs that flavor the dish are typically marjoram, bay leaves, and thyme. It’s a delicious and healthy side dish.
